Assistant Project Director Part Time (11.25 hours per week)

The Center for Technology-based Education and Community Health at NDRI-USA is seeking applicants for a part time assistant project director in a large project designed to encourage participants to protect themselves and others from overdose. The project is funded by NIH/NIDA and offers extensive opportunities for publication and experience working with an established team of professional researchers.

The APD will work closely with the PI to oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of results via conference presentations and journal publications. The APD will also help the PI complete administrative tasks, including data sharing in accordance with NIDA HEAL grant requirements, and coordinate the activities of the research team. Advanced writing skills required, as well as ability to work onsite in various parts of New York City at the direction of the PI. Experience working with people who use drugs and Spanish language skills are strongly desired. Lived or living experience with substance use and/or the criminal justice system are also desired. Earned doctorate in the social and behavioral sciences, or a related field, required.  Salary Range for 11.25 hours per week: $18,000 to $21,000 per year.
