Clinical Psychologist – The University of New Mexico
The Department of Psychology at The University of New Mexico (UNM) invites applications for a Clinical Psychologist position at an Assistant Professor level for a full-time, tenure-track appointment. We seek a highly committed, license eligible Psychologist who is determined to contribute to the research and teaching missions in the areas of multicultural and cultural psychology.
Successful candidates for this position will be expected to teach and mentor at the undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels. The UNM Department of Psychology, which currently includes 25 tenure-track faculty and 76 Ph.D. students, has internationally recognized research programs. External research grants exceeded $8 million in funding last year. The department has established a Diversity/Multicultural Psychology Emphasis and offers several Diversity/Multicultural services and organizations, including a doctoral student diversity organization, a Cultural Counseling Center, a Faculty Diversity Committee, and a Diversity Resources shared folder (see https://psych.unm.edu/graduate/programs-of-study/diversitymulticulturalpsychology. html).
