Open-Rank, Tenure-Track Faculty Positions – Rutgers School of Public Health
The Department of Health Behavior, Society and Policy is seeking applicants for two faculty positions primarily affiliated with the Health Systems and Policy concentration. The ideal candidates will enhance, complement, and deepen current department strengths, including but not limited to: health economics, health services, and/or health policy with particular emphasis on mental health and/or substance use (e.g., alcohol, opioids, tobacco). Candidates interested in addressing health inequities, and those who can collaborate with faculty members in our other concentrations – Population Mental Health, Social and Behavioral Health Sciences, and Population Aging – will be prioritized. Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, ScD, or DrPH) in public health, economics, health services research, demography, sociology, psychology, or an adjacent field
- Strong record of scholarly publications
- Potential or sustained record of extramural funding commensurate with career stage
- Teaching and mentoring experience commensurate with career stage
- Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and antiracism
