Postdoctoral Fellowship at Wayne State University (WSU) School of Medicine

The WSU Substance Addiction Research Division is a vibrant research group (>$25 million in current funding) led by a multidisciplinary team of 5 principal investigators conducting clinical addiction research. Among them, Dr. Eric Woodcock is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to multi-modal neuroimaging research studies (MRI + PET) among individuals with substance use disorders (anticipated start date: Summer 2025).
Primary Job Functions:
- Assist with the implementation and analysis of clinical Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging research
- Assist with the implementation and analysis of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) research
- Co-author manuscripts and grant applications
Applicant Requirements:
- PhD in Neuroscience, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or similar
- 2+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting neuroimaging data
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using PMod to analyze PET data
- Knowledge of neurobiology and psychiatric disorders
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and software packages
