Research Assistant II – Mind Research Network 

A full-time Research Assistant II position is currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Jon Houck at The Mind Research Network in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Research Assistant II will work as part of a team on several federally-funded clinical research studies designed to evaluate the behavioral and physiological effects of nicotine and tobacco use in human research participants, as well as other studies as needed. This is an in-person role that will involve recruiting, screening, and scheduling research participants; administering informed consent procedures; administering research questionnaires and structured assessment batteries; collecting and processing biospecimens; assisting with data processing and data analysis; and other duties as needed. The research assistant will also interact with colleagues in multiple departments at the University of New Mexico including CASAA, Psychiatry, and Psychology.
