Research Coordinator – Mind Research Network

A full-time Research Coordinator position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jon Houck at the Mind Research Network in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Research Coordinator will work with a research team on several federally-funded studies designed to evaluate the behavioral and physiological effects of nicotine and tobacco use in human research participants, as well as other studies as needed.

This is an in-person role that will involve screening and scheduling research participants, administering informed consent procedures, administering questionnaires and structured assessment batteries, collecting and processing biospecimens, maintaining regulatory binders, maintaining screening and protocol deviation logs, managing IRB submissions and compliance, and other duties as needed. The position’s work schedule is determined by research participant availability and will involve occasional evening or weekend participant appointments, with core working hours of 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
