2024 NIH-sponsored Diversity in Addiction Research Training (DART) Summer Research Fellowship
Applications are being accepted for the 2024 NIH-sponsored Diversity in Addiction Research Training (DART) Summer Research Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). This 10-week research training opportunity is open to medical, graduate, and undergraduate students. Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply. There is an in-person, full-time option as well as a virtual/remote, part-time option. Benefits include: Faculty mentorship from experts in addiction research; experience in various types of research, including clinical trials, basic science studies, neuroimaging, brain stimulation, pharmacotherapy, and/or co-occurring psychiatric conditions; Didactic seminar series and Journal Club; Working with near peer mentors; and Professional networking opportunities. All summer trainees receive a stipend. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2024.
