Community Programs Supervisor – The National Center for Opioid & Addiction Research (NCOAR)
The National Center for Opioid & Addiction Research (NCOAR) at the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute is recruiting a Community Programs Supervisor to lead partnership development and community engagement efforts in support of NCOAR’s statewide research mission focused on opioid use and addiction.
This role is ideal for a relationship-oriented, strategic leader who is passionate about translating community needs into research-informed solutions that improve the lives of children and families affected by opioid use and addiction in Arkansas and beyond. The position carries primary responsibility for forming and sustaining meaningful partnerships with community groups and stakeholders across the state, coordinating community advisory board efforts, and leading a data collective initiative that bridges research and real-world community impact. Additional responsibilities include overseeing provider education initiatives, managing program budgets and operations, supervising staff, and conducting program evaluation and quality improvement. Statewide travel is required.
The position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of community engagement and pediatric addiction research within Arkansas’s only hospital system dedicated exclusively to children, backed by an unprecedented $75M state investment in opioid and substance misuse research.
