Health Data Scientist – CHERISH group at Weill Cornell Medicine

The Department of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking a Health Data Scientist, who will provide dedicated support to query healthcare claims databases, manage claims and clinical trial data to support economic analyses, and assist with those analyses to answer policy-relevant questions regarding interventions for substance use disorder (SUD), HIV, and other related conditions.

The successful candidate: has a Master’s degree in biostatistics or health-related discipline alongside a concentration/certificate in biostatistics/data analysis; has a minimum 1-2 years’ experience providing data management/programming support; and can demonstrate proficiency in SAS programming. Experience with claims data or SQL programming, statistical analysis in Stata, and experience writing and organizing scientific deliverables are a plus.
