Postdoctoral Fellowship – VA

Two years of advanced interdisciplinary training to physicians, psychologists, and other doctoral-level health scientists in research and quality improvement methods in the Portland HSR&D Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care (CIVIC).

Additional mentorship and didactic resources available through Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).

Participate in ongoing research in one or more areas, including:
Enhancement of patient-clinician collaboration in care
PTSD; traumatic brain injury; chronic pain and opioids
Suicide prevention
Health informatics
Rural health; access to care

All Candidates:
Must have completed doctoral degree before beginning the fellowship
Must be a U.S. citizen

Additionally, Physician Candidates:
Must be board eligible or board certified (any specialty)
Must have completed a residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical. Education (ACGME) or the Bureau of Professional Education (BPE) of the American Osteopathic Association.
Must have an active U.S. medical license
