Project Coordinator Position at UConn Health
We are hiring a full-time project coordinator to work on a NIDA-funded Initiative (the Collaborative Hub for Emerging Adult Recovery Research [CHEARR], R24DA057632) focused on recovery supports for young adults with opioid use disorder. CHEARR seeks to advance research on the effectiveness of recovery support services for young adults (ages 16 to 25) who take or who have taken medications for opioid use disorder. Of note, we encourage applicants with lived experience in recovery from substance use and/or with familial substance use to apply for this position. Responsibilities include providing administrative support for CHEARR research faculty and trainees, as well as coordinating and facilitating community boards comprised of young adults in recovery and recovery professionals. This is a great opportunity to learn about community based participatory research approaches, which includes promoting genuine partnerships among communities impacted by opioid use disorder, recovery professionals, and researchers.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
