As the COVID-19 crisis continues to escalate worldwide, CPDD will continue providing real-time updates on the status of the CPDD 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting scheduled for June 20-24, 2020 at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. The health and well-being of our attendees is of the utmost importance as we navigate the status of this year’s event.
At this time, we feel the best course of action is to continue planning the conference while we work diligently with the hotel evaluating options to postpone or cancel the meeting in Florida this year. We continue to encourage you to not register for the meeting, nor book travel or hotel accommodations until further notice. Those who have already secured accommodations should review cancellation and insurance policies. We anticipate having a final answer in the upcoming week.
We encourage everyone to ensure their membership is current. Login to your CPDD account in the Member’s Area of the homepage to pay your 2020 membership dues. By paying your membership dues, you will continue to receive member benefits and are supporting CPPD and its mission to advance and advocate for a scientific approach to substance use disorders.
We want to thank the entire CPDD community for your patience as we navigate this very challenging pandemic. We wish you, your loved ones and colleagues safety and good health.
CPDD IS KEEPING A WATCHFUL EYE AND WILL PROVIDE REGULAR UPDATES:
To help us stay up to date on the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are consistently monitoring the Florida Department of Health, U.S Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
