Reflective Supervision Consultant – University of Arizona
The Harm Reduction Research Lab at University of Arizona is seeking a Reflective Supervision Consultant (part-time effort) to provide reflective clinical supervision services to Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) counselors and staff as part of a national clinical trial.
MPACT (Methadone Patient Access to Collaborative Treatment) is an experimental multimodal staff-level intervention to influence the adoption of low barrier, standard-of-care methadone treatment among OTP staff to improve patient treatment outcomes. To accomplish this, MPACT seeks to reduce staff posttraumatic stress and work related (vicarious) trauma. This approach is based on preliminary studies (1,2) conducted by the MPACT team in the Harm Reduction Research Lab at University of Arizona (Meyerson PI, R61/33 funding by NIDA).
Reflective Supervision Consultation (RSC) has been adapted for OTPs as an MPACT component offered during the national MPACT trial.
